For celebrity stylist Ton Lao, the 2019 ABS-CBN Ball is an opportunity to highlight our Filipino culture and heritage
The ABS-CBN Ball is a much-awaited event as all our brightest Kapamilya stars gather in one venue for the benefit of Bantay Bata 163’s Bantay Edukasyon. In this Metro.Style exclusive, the team got the opportunity to shadow celebrity stylist Ton Lao in his busy day of styling his clients for this big night. He shares the different inspirations behind the outfits of Piolo Pascual, Enrique Gil, Daniel Padilla and Xian Lim.
With the theme of Modern Filipiniana, it is quite interesting how this is interpreted in the outfits of these male celebrities. In hopes to globalize Philippine fashion, Ton collaborated with local designers and used different fabrics from all around the country to highlight our Filipino culture and heritage.
