AmfAR Cannes Gala 2019: The Best Celebrity Looks At The Biggest Benefit Party For AIDS Research
Now on its 26th year, the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) Gala is back and bigger than ever!
This year's fête-for-a-cause, held at the French Riviera's Hôtel du Cap last May 23, raised $15 million in support of AIDS research. Aside from a jaw-dropping fashion show curated by Carine Roitfeld, the amfAR Gala also featured performances by Mariah Carey, Dua Lipa, The Struts, Charli XCX, and more.
According to amfAR.org, this ultra exclusive, star-studded event has raised over $235 million for the organization's life-saving research programs in over two decades—and has helped keep the fight against AIDS in the global media spotlight.
