Ting Hun

Camille and Joni celebrated their Chinese engagement through a traditional ting hun. She wore an intricately embellished nude dress—which happened to be the last CoExist by Camille Co dress she will ever make. It was just last year when the blogger announced that she would be letting go of her fashion label to focus on her new business ventures, as well as on marriage and family life. "Even though It pains me to say goodbye to my original baby, change is good. Change is necessary," she quipped.

The designer refrained from creating a full gown for her ting hun for practical reasons. "I didn’t want to be in a full gown because I had to walk backwards as I entered the ceremony. I’m already clumsy as it is in a long gown [and] heels walking forward, what more backwards?" she joked on Instagram.

Civil Wedding

On October 19, 2018, months before their destination wedding, the stylish couple got wed in a quiet civil ceremony with only three witnesses. "I didn’t think much of it though. I didn’t even want to dress up! But my friends knocked my head and convinced me to put some effort to it," Camille shared on her social media page.

She donned a well-tailored, below-the-knee white ensemble, which she paired with monochromatic heels. She topped off her look with a dainty beaded headpiece—a small detail that made all the difference.

Welcome Party

It's only fitting that Camille and Joni decided to get married in a destination wedding—after all, they first met while on board an airplane! The two welcomed their guests under the gorgeous Tuscan sun—in Siena, Italy, to be exact—a lovely venue for a romantic wedding.

For the welcoming party, Camille was clad in a tulle Viktor and Rolf wedding dress, which she layered under her feathered Coexist by Camille Co robe.

Wedding Day

Camille walked down the aisle to exchange vows with Joni. She turned heads in a minimalist, Meghan Markle-inspired number. True to her word, Camille did get an RTW piece instead of designing her own wedding dress—choosing a Lela Rose piece, no less.

Her sophisticated dress featured a classy backless cut, as well as intricate cut-outs along its sleeves—romantic, unconventional touches for a contemporary bride like her. Finally, the it bride donned a pearl-encrusted headband. It's trendy yet ultra classy!
