Universe, meet our newest queen—Catriona Gray from the Philippines!
The 25-year-old beauty flew to New York last week to officially begin her duties as this year's Miss Universe. First on her list of things to do? Media week! Every year, the newly crowned Miss Universe kicks off her reign by doing interviews and guesting on several shows. As expected, our very own Catriona was graceful and articulate in answering every question, including the big debate that has been stirring social media: is she Filipino or Australian?
Catriona's charm and her wise, genuine answers were not the only things that captured everyone's hearts and attention—her chic wardrobe choices were also the talk of the town. And because it takes a village to come up with standout looks, Catriona gives credit to her Miss Universe glam team for all her media week OOTDs. Fashion stylist Marquis Bias was responsible for her wardrobe, while makeup artist Yuko Takashi and hairstylist Gabrielle Rose made sure she looked beautiful as ever.

Before the flight

The Filipina beauty visited the Miss Universe headquarters in a mother of pearl-embellished denim skirt—a Niñofranco piece proudly made by theTagakaolo tribe from the Philippines.
Day One
Catriona's first media week guestings were for Good Morning America and Live with Kelly and Ryan. She sported a yellow knitted peplum Karen Millen dress and Cristina Sabatini earrings—a sweet, feminine ensemble!
She then changed into a bright, fiery long-sleeved dress for her guesting on Celebrity Page Network.

The beauty queen was also spotted walking around the City of Dreams in the chicest winter clothes! This red Karen Millen coat is both practical and stylish.
Catriona also donned the hottest trend of the season—animal prints! She layered a muted lopard coat over her zebra-printed Karen Millen dress, perfectly nailing the print-on-print technique.

Day Two
For her appearance on Good Day New York, the beauty queen was clad in a royal blue Sherri Hill dress. She also carried the perfect accessory with her: the iconic Mikimoto crown!
Catriona then changed into another casual yet classy Karen Millen ensemble: a floral blouse and a red mini skirt.
To turn this outfit winter-appropriate, she layered her look with a gorgeous black velvet wrap coat.
Day Three
Finally, on the third day of media week, Catriona donned a no-fail tan coat over a classic plaid dress. She paired the subdued but sophisticated look with comfortable block heels. She topped off her look by wearing her hair in effortless, soft waves and by swiping a bold shade of red on her lips.
