#MetroStyleWatch: The 7 Best Evening Looks We Spotted At The CFDA Fashion Awards 2019

Every year since 1981, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) holds the Fashion Awards, aka the Oscars of American fashion. Graced by designers, stylists, journalists, models, and fashion influencers, this year's CFDA Awards was held at the Brooklyn Museum in New York. And as expected, the red carpet fashion did not disappoint. Ahead, we've compiled our favorite looks at the 2019 Fashion Awards!

Jennifer Lopez in Ralph Lauren

Look at those abs! JLo sported a custom Ralph Lauren number that featured a cropped jersey top and a pleated silk skirt, reminscent of an Indian lengha. Over 43,000 crystals were embellished on the singer's top, while her floor-length skirt had concealed pockets perfect for the practical fashionista.

Gigi Hadid in Louis Vuitton

Welcome to the age of androgynous fashion. Supermodel Gigi Hadid donned a creation from the Louis Vuitton by Virgil Abloh F/W '19 men's collection. We love the sleek, pleated details!

Laura Harrier in KHAITE

We're obsessed with this '60s-inspired look! The buckle belt delicately cinched Laura Harrier's waist, adding a feminine touch to this voluminous ensemble.

The best-dressed veteran was clad in a three-toned pantsuit that featured a dainty train.

The supermodel rocked neon, one of today's trendiest colors, by donning a retro-inspired mini dress with a bow detail.
