Mars Ravelo’s Darna gave us not one but two iconic Darna transformations on its first week. First to transform in full Darna regalia is Iza Calzado, who plays the role of Leonor, Narda’s mother in the series.

Iza wore a red and gold one-piece suit accessorized with a helmet and a pair of arm bands. The actress instantly earned admiration for her portrayal of the first heroine in the series.

Over the weekend, Jane De Leon finally transformed into Darna from head-to-toe. The costume was complete with Darna’s two-piece red and gold suit, matching knee-high boots, arm cuffs, and signature red headgear.

To modernize Jane’s Darna look, the costume designer of the show added a pair of embellishments on the hips that mimic the shape of a shield. We’re definitely excited to see more of Jane’s version of Darna within the next few weeks.
