EXCLUSIVE: This Luxury Purse Is Heart Evangelista’s Baby Bag Of Choice—And It’s Not Hermès!
If we had the chance to raid Heart Evangelista's wardrobe, we totally would. (Actually, we've done that before in this exclusive.)
We mean, who wouldn't? Her gorgeous walk-in closet in her attic is to die for! Known for her covet-worthy bag collection, the artist and actress is one of the country's fashion authorities on all things chic and classy. The Metro Most Stylish woman, whose artist persona goes by her real name, Love Marie, is also known for hand-painting on Hermès handbags. In fact, she receives commissions from around the world for her Love Marie pieces! In an exclusive interview during her solo exhibit last April, the artist shares:
"I like [painting on] Hermès bags because of the high. You're so afraid to make a mistake, but it's so fulfilling when you get it [right] after. I mean on canvas, when you make a mistake, you can cover it up—but here, that's it! I used to get nightmares that I'd end up filling the whole bag and ang daming things covered, but now, I just feel so fulfilled. I'm also an [Hermès bag] investor. I really appreciate it when I cover up a ballpen stain and it would look new again. It feels good! Some people also give me commisions. They give me their Hermès bags, which are most of the time damaged with ballpen stains, and then I paint on them!"

Aside from Hermès, the fashionista recently invested in another Parisian luxury brand. It seems like Heart has an affinity for French luxury labels!
Last May 23, Metro.Style caught up with Heart Evangelista-Escudero at the exclusive shopping party of British shoe label Kurt Geiger held at the Power Plant Mall, where the blooming mother-to-be shared with us her baby bag of choice!

“I got a gray one like a Lady Dior, but it’s a bigger version with a flap!" beams the actress, who adds that there was a heartwarming story behind her latest investment. She shares that she fell in love with this bag while she was in Paris with her friends, local designer Mark Bumgarner and stylist Kat Cruz-Villanueva. "They told me to get the bag na, but right then, I didn’t think I was going to get pregnant right away, because [Chiz and I] have been trying for months. So I said, wag muna. But they insisted that I buy it, so I did. When I finally told them that I was pregnant, they were so happy! They were like, ‘See? Good thing you bought the bag!’”
