Metro.Style: Who conceptualized the design of Catriona Gray's stunning statement ear cuff?

Tessera Jewelry: The design was conceptualized together with Catriona and her stylist Ton Lao. The idea was to come up with the best possible representation for the country. They reached out to our team for this collaboration, and the statement piece took more than a month of hard work and craftsmanship to create.

 

MS: Of all designs available, why did you decide to create an ear cuff?

TJ: We truly believe that Catriona can represent the country well in any [international] pageant—and that’s why we supported this [nationalistic] design. Instead of traditional earrings, Catriona wanted a patriotic ear cuff that would catch the attention of any observer.

TJ: One can own a piece for only P2,000, but since we mostly deal with personalized orders, the cost depends on the budget, the materials, and the complexity of the work. It usually takes up to 10 working days to have earrings customized, and our items are available for both pick-up and delivery.
