Do you remember your favorite cartoon character as a child? Mine would have to include the likes of Rainbow Brite, My Little Pony, and yes, you guessed right—Hello Kitty. How could one not? This iconic cat holds a significant place in each little girl's life, having been visible in pop culture for decades now.

Most of the time though, we associate cartoon characters with our childhoods, and we often leave them there. Who says adults can't have fun with cartoons anymore?

The brand new Furla x Hello Kitty collab

This 2019, get ready to welcome a cartoon character collaboration with Italian luxury brand Furla—the Hello Kitty and My Melody collection! Following the success of the Hello Kitty collection from 2018, this time around, Hello Kitty brings along a friend from the Sanrio family to a journey into infinite space.

My Melody, to those who don't know, is a bunny born in The Forest, Maryland. "Her long ears are antennas for friendship and she knows straight away when people are happy or sad. Cheerful and honest, she loves baking cookies with her mama and is protective of her little brother."

In this collection are three prints to choose from, made using a digitally stylised cartoon graphic. The fun, vibrant prints come alive in "The Metropolis", Furla's iconic crossbody bag available in small, in Ares calfskin leather, and in Mini in Saffiano with the chain and closure in classic metallic gold. This line includes the My Play Furla flaps, and leather favorites like wallets and card cases.
