#MetroStyleWatch: The Head-Turning Looks At The 61st Grammy Awards Red Carpet

Awards season continues with the 61st Grammy Awards, where some of the best in the music world got recognized for their talent and artistry. A lot of women, the likes of Cardi B (first woman to win best rap album as a solo artist) and Lady Gaga, (who won two Grammys for "Shallow" from "A Star Is Born") arrived with their style A-game—and we expected no less!

This year, celebrities opted to go the fasyon route—avoiding the outlandish and oftentimes weird ensembles that used to rule the Grammy Awards fashion show. With the exception of a few bright-hued ensembles, shades of shiny silver, white, and hues of pink seemed to be the color palette for this year's carpet. These flattering feminine gowns had their fair share of the spotlight, and we're carefully taking cues from trends we'll surely be seeing more of for the rest of awards season to come!
