A thoughtfully styled summer outfit should also come with self-love and confidence. What better way to welcome summer than to be at your best! Hear from Catriona Gray, Kim Chiu, and Rei Germar as they talk you through what makes one look and feel great in a swimsuit. Propelled by their passion stories, these three inspiring women lead H&M's newest Tropical Essentials 2022 campaign. In this Metro Exclusive, we also asked them about their go-to swimwear silhouettes and their favorite pieces from H&M's latest summer collection.

How does one look and feel great in a bikini/swimwear? Kim: "Wearing the right swimwear or bikini can already make a woman feel confident. I think it is important to express yourself however you want to. We all have different definitions of a perfect summer anyway!"
What is your all-time favorite bikini cut and why? Kim: "I love both two piece and one piece swimsuits. For two piece, I prefer triangular cut tops and high waist bottoms."
Any favorites from the new Tropical Essentials 2022 collection? Kim: "H&M has a wide range of selections to choose from. Since I love dressing up and taking OOTDs, I'm excited to try the collection."

How does one look and feel great in a bikini/swimwear? Catriona: "It really starts with how you see yourself because when one wears a swimsuit there’s not a lot of material to cover yourself and so that comes with a lot of vulnerability. If you’re uncomfortable with your skin that translates with how you feel. It’s really a journey of learning to love your unique shape because we all come in very different shape and sizes and that’s beautiful. Our bodies should be embraced and celebrated! Play up with silhouettes that you feel like flatter your body."
What is your all-time favorite bikini cut and why? Catriona: "I’m a huge fan of cutouts and one pieces because I’m quite conservative. I always think about what I like to accentuate which is like my collar bone area and my legs. Off-shoulder bikinis are really cute and a high waist bottom I really like! Even if you’re not so comfortable with a plain swimsuit you can always accessorize with a caftan, cover up, oversized t-shirt, scarf, or a sarong."
Any favorites from the new Tropical Essentials 2022 collection? Catriona: "That’s a hard question but I really love this white scallop two-piece with pearl details!"

How does one look and feel great in a bikini/swimwear? Rei: "Every body is bikini-ready! Choose a bikini that makes you feel most confident and slay that sunny day! As long as you’re comfortable in it and believe that you look great, trust me, you will feel great about it too."
What is your all-time favorite bikini cut and why? Rei: "A strappy triangle bikini top and a low waist yet high leg cut bikini bottom! You can wear and tie the bikini top in so many ways so it’s like having more than one bikini! I always go for high leg cut bikini bottoms because it gives the illusion of longer legs! I’m just 5’2 so I’m up for anything that’ll make me look longer!"
