Heart Evangelista-Escudero wasn't named 2019's Top 1 Metro Most Stylish Woman for nothing.

The celebrity and artist never fails to inspire us with her elegant, covet-worthy looks—but recently, she made waves on Instagram yet again for sharing a practical style hack to her followers. Using two oversized silk scarves, the METRO Magazine cover girl poured out her creative juices in coming up with a gorgeous, red carpet-worthy look: a one-shoulder dress worth the double take!

 

 

To top off her innovative OOTD, she styled her hair in loose waves and donned minimal golden bangles. For an added oomph, she sported sky-high nude pumps, giving the illusion of longer, leaner legs.

 

What a brilliant way to spice up your summer wardrobe! So how did Heart do this genius hack, you ask? The good news is, it's way simpler than it looks. METRO women, all you need to do is bring out two pieces of oversized scarves. Get the first piece, and tie the corners of the scarf around one shoulder—this will serve as the "top" of your dress. Then, get the second piece and tie its corners around your waist. Voila! An instant red carpet-ready ensemble!

For women looking for a more relaxed, casual OOTD, they can opt to use only one silk scarf and turn it into a chic one-shoulder top. Pair this standout piece with denim shorts, colorful block heels, and a no-fail basket bag, and you'll end up with a laid-back outfit perfect for errands days. If you're wondering why the prints on these silk scarves look familiar, it's because they were taken straight from Heart's very own paintings. Local RTW label Kamiseta collaborated with the actress-artist last year in coming up with wearable art using Heart's (aka Love Marie's) artworks. Just recently, Kamiseta surprised the local fashion industry by announcing Heart as their newest Creative Director.
