In case you missed it, Japanese sportswear brand Asics provided our Filipino athletes tracksuits, training and competition wear, footwear, and other accessories such as caps and socks for this year's Olympic Games. It was absolutely a no brainer for our athletes to don uniforms in red and blue. The designs of the uniforms are even more amplified with the Philippine flag and subtle pinstriped detailing to make an even bigger statement.

19 athletes including Hidilyn and Nesthy wore these uniforms during the opening and closing ceremonies as well as during their games.

Up to this day, whenever we see their winning looks pop up in our feeds, we couldn't help but feel proud of how far they have come and how much honor they've brought our country even during these tough times. Women like Hidilyn and Nesthy will forever remain as our life inspiration!
