We Ask Influencers: What Is Your Ideal V-Day Look?

We're in the mood for love! When it comes to stylishly wearing our hearts on our sleeves this Valentine's Day, our favorite Filipina fashion influencers have got us covered for outfit inspirations. Between the endless options of outfits in romantic hues like deep reds to baby pinks, there's so much room to explore in date day/night outfitting. We asked Chi and Gab Gibbs, Jaz Reyes, and Vern and Verniece Enciso about their ideal Valentine's Day look and they gave us a variety of options to get in the lovey-dovey spirit! From going bold with a red suit, feeling like Cinderella with a pair of statement heels, to looking cute and casual with denim jeans, here's how to summon a year filled with love this 2022.

"I'm really the type of person that goes on theme for an occasion. Hahaha! Valentines is no exception. An ideal V-day outfit for me would definitely be an all red dress or suit, with a matching red lip! Plus killer heels of course. Bonus points for heart shaped accessories ie. Gucci's Crystal embellished heart clutch," says Chi.

Gab Gibbs

"My outfit usually depends on what me and my boyfriend are doing on Valentine's day! This year I was told to dress pretty casual and that there will be animals involved so I'll most probably be wearing a baby tee, baggy mid/ low rise jeans, with Jordans or a pair of chunky slides," says Gab.

Jaz Reyes

"I say wear anything that makes you love yourself even more. Wear what makes you feel 200% and showcase what you love about yourself. Valentine’s Day isn’t just about that significant other," says Jaz.

Vern Enciso-Lim

"Something classic! A little black or white dress will never fail. I’ll finish it off with the Amina Muaddi Cinderella pumps, my current favorite pair of heels that don’t get the light of day ever since the pandemic started. Topping it off with a red lip then I’m good to go," says Vern.

Verniece Enciso

"My ideal Valentine’s Day outfit is little black dress and pairing it with my current favorite Amina Muaddi Glass heels to make me feel like Cinderella for a night," says Verniece.
