All The Unforgettable Fashion Moments From Blogger Kryz Uy And Slater Young's Wedding In Cebu
Congratulations to the #YoungAndKryzzzie newlyweds!
ICYMI, some of the biggest fashion bloggers in the Philippines gathered in Cebu last weekend to witness the union of 'Behind the Blog' author and social media influencer Kryz Uy and former PBB Housemate and engineer Slater Young. From building a house together and landing on the digital cover of Metro.Style to finally exchanging their I Dos, the power couple is now on their way to forever—and we couldn't be any happier for them!
As expected, there was no shortage of Instagram-worthy and ultra stylish details on the day of the wedding. (What else is there to expect when one of the pioneers of the Philippine fashion blogging industry gets married, right?)
Ahead, we've rounded up all the swoon-worthy details that make Kryz Uy and Slater Young's Cebu nuptials unforgettable.
1. The bride tribe's matching pink and lace satin camisole sets by Happy Andrada
The woman of the hour and her bride tribe were all clad in matching Happy Andrada camisole sets—with champagne in their hands—as they prepared for the big day.
2. The bride's sultry wedding gown by Francis Libiran
Kryz Uy chose to walk down the aisle in a sultry, form-fitting lace ensemble by Filipino veteran designer Francis Libiran.
3. Kryz' no makeup-makeup by Anthea Bueno and woke-up-like-this waves by RJ Dela Cruz
The no makeup-makeup look is quite tricky to nail, but Kryz' glam team are experts! She hired none other than celebrity makeup artist Anthea Bueno to create her natural, dewy look and celebrity hairstylist RJ Dela Cruz for her soft, effortless beach waves. "3 hours in the makeup chair was worth it!!!" the blogger quipped.
4. Kryz' romantic bridal bouquet by Vatel Manila
The best-selling author had her bridal bouquet uniquely arranged by Vatel Manila. We love the subtle touch of red!
5. The bridal entourage wore ethereal creations by Elizabeth Hallie?!
Each member of the bridal party—from the maid and matron of honor to the bridesmaids—wore a powder blue ensemble by local designer Elizabeth Hallie. We love the different silhouettes that perfectly draped each woman—there were high slits, halter necklines, cape sleeves, one-shoulder dresses, frilly skirts, and more!
6. The gorgeous garden-themed reception
The couple opted to turn the hotel ballroom into a garden-inspired space—fairy lights draped from the ceiling to mimic a starry night. We also love the wood and floral details on the table!
7. The 'it bloggers' dressed to the nines!
Finally, some of the country's biggest style bloggers celebrated the occasion all clad in their best outdoor wedding attire!
