Everything you need to know about Lacoste's covetable Court Slams

Tennis has taken its own form of inspiration in street fashion these days. And the style trademark of the quintessentially chic tennis fashion is a pair of white sneakers, one that can upgrade any outfit into a polished yet sporty look. Combine this footwear with the style cred of the ‘90s and you can get a a whole new take of athleisure footwear.

The refreshed retro vibe of the collection is all you need to update your sense of sports fashion and street style.  Combining tennis codes with the current dictates of streetwear fashion, the new unisex sneaker collection from Lacoste catches the eye with its retro look and chunky sole. Striking the perfect balance between heritage and modernity, Lacoste embraces the ‘90s revival to align the Court Slam with the spirit of the time, a time when performance and elegance go hand-in-hand.

The collection is inspired by the Tennis 91, one of the iconic models plucked from the brand’s archives. Born in tennis courts in the 1990s, it is being revived today as a lifestyle sneaker with a daring aesthetic and contemporary design. The Court Slam effortlessly asserts a unique personality.

The collection has two categories: sneakers available in a one-color version– white or natural – or in white highlighted with colored details – navy, green, yellow and pink, and dark red.

The Court Slam has a leather upper with suede insets. Its perforated uppers are inspired by the grip of a tennis racket, which gives a casual, sporty look, while retaining its original technology for optimum stability and comfort.
