‘Beached’ Host Rachel Peters Kicks Off Our Summer-To-Be With Her Fave Swimsuits

We're making a list of all the swimsuits we could still be wearing soon!

Dreaming about the beach and the cold waters slapping against endless white sand? Instead of sulking around and being idle, we’re spending our lockdown already constructing our summer itinerary and excitedly looking for swimsuit pegs. Our first beach inspo: Beached host and former beauty queen Rachel Peters.

Rachel joined the Beached team around the same time last year, following the first season host Maggie Wilson after her run. She now hosts the travel lifestyle show with Marc Nelson, and they visit all the beach hotspots around the Philippines to celebrate the beauty of our islands and waters.

In a previous interview with Metro.Style, Rachel admits that hosting the show is her beach life coming to full circle. “Anybody who knows me knows that I am happiest at the beach. It’s not a holiday, it’s not a break if it’s not at the beach. I guess my best childhood memories were at the beach and it’s just always carried on that way. Until now, our thing is we go to the beach, watch the sunset, drinking coconut, having a beer. It’s so simple, but it’s just those moments that really make your heart full.”

In fact, it feels like her whole life breathes around the beach as she and her fiancé Migz are currently based in Siargao, managing their own coffee shop, Bake.

Season 2 of Beached with Rachel and Marc has been really spectacular, and they’ve been to some of the most beautiful but underrated beaches in the country. Some of their favorites from the season include Masbate and Sorsogon, where they got to swim with whale sharks; Romblon, where they were able to see endangered turtles; Camiguin and its powdery white sandbar; the quiet beauty of San Vicente; and Iloilo, home to the Gigantes Islands circuit.

Now we can't wait to do our itineraries starting right now, even the swimwear we are to pack with us! Get your summer fix and inspo from Rachel’s hottest swimsuits on Beached below.
