Have A Closer Look At Liza Soberano’s Chic French Boho Looks For Metro’s Cover!
And that new hair do just for the shoot!!
It’s one of Liza Soberano’s biggest years in showbizness and we’re here to celebrate it on how we do it best: a Metro digital cover! For the month of July, fresh out of her Trese stint on Netflix and celebrating 10 years in the industry, Liza gives us a brand new look exclusive to this shoot. Yes, Liza is stunning in French boho looks and a chic wig which can pass off as her own!

The overall Metro concept takes inspiration from her Trese show, taking elements from it and elevating them to fashion heights. Her Trese apartment was redone with moss green walls, Alexandra’s hair got a chicer new ‘do, and the eeriness of the show was incorporated to add mystery to the Metro shoot. This is Trese but fashion!

As for Liza’s looks, French boho were the watchwords. Dark, sharp, unpolished—the pieces were mixed to add edge but also that French je ne sais quoi, that naturally unexplained French chicness.
Dark prints, sheer fabrics, edgy blacks, this cover story is filled with pieces that gave Liza a daring, bold new look.

Photographer BJ Pascual and stylist Perry Tabora created a moodpboard for this shoot merging the two style aesthetic: From Bernardo Bertulucci’s film The Dreamers and Trese. Out comes the boho-cool look for Liza. “It’s definitely a different look than what people are used to because it’s more sexy in a way but she pulled it off and made it look cool and effortless,” says Perry to Metro.Style.

“We achieved the French boho look through trench coats, button down shirts and bomber and moto jackets.,” Perry continues. “To get that sexy, effortless style, we used leather in neutral palettes, sheer fabrics, subtle prints and lace.” On top of this, Renz Pangilinan and Robbie Piñera’s beauty look matched the aesthetic with a chic wig and neutral to bold lips and liner.
