LOOK: How Louis Vuitton Looks At The Oscar’s Afterparty Were Made
It took over 1,000 hours to finish these three dresses!
It’s awards season and the level of fashion gets elevated every time. At the recently concluded Oscars last week, the red carpet didn’t stop at the show. The Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty was a treasure trove of savoir faire looks. On top the guest list were Sophie Turner, Renate Reinsve, and Cynthia Erivo who all wore Louis Vuitton—their looks taking almost 1,100 hours to complete by the fashion house’s skilled artisans.
On Sophie was a stunning red silk dress with a pleated skirt, fluted to perfection in a daring hue of red. Cynthia’s look was made of a high-neck body suit and an sequin-embroidered exaggerrated skirt with mini pailettes. Renate went with a custom-made caped gown in silk mousseline with a relaxed cowl neck. The three actresses brought different energies to the dresses.
Though the ladies carried the looks so well, the credit also goes to the artisans who crafted the pieces to perfection. This shows the true impeccable craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton and the heritage they make sure to preserve.
