For this edition of Style Watch, we put the spotlight on last year's #MetroMostStylish woman, Lovi Poe! The actress chose to end her year and start the new one by jetting off to the States for a grand American vacation, where she started off painting the town red in The Big Apple!
From having adventures in Times Square and chilling out in Central Park, to working out at the famed Dogpound gym, Lovi surely has been having a blast in NYC! Now while she was busy doing all that, we couldn't help but sit up and take notice of her perfectly styled outfits! The style star surely has dressing for the cold mastered—statement coats, chunky boots, and even head gear make for her picture perfect New York City wardrobe!

Pretty in plaid
Reminiscent of the '90s, the plaid trend surely made a major comeback into our lives this past year. It's still making its presence felt till now; case in point: Lovi's Clueless-inspired skirt and suit jacket combo layered with a camel coat. She finishes it off with a cross-body CH Carolina Herrera Insignia bag and an infectious smile!
Run for cover
A quick, chic way to shield yourself from the cold is with a luxurious scarf or a poncho. Don't get any ideas about purchasing those Mexican-inspired pieces though. Here we're talking about getting one like Lovi's—a cream coverup with faux fur trim and buttons, pretty much like a coat minus the sleeves!
Working it in workout gear
Not one to disappoint in the fitness aspect, Lovi starts the year with a bang by working out at Dogpound, a gym frequented by Victoria's Secret models, elite athletes, and celebrities in New York City. She was accompanied by fellow fit junkie Rhian Ramos, and outdid themselves by doing a tandem workout that makes us want to get off our butts! Lovi rocks her workout gear by finishing the look with a classy Chanel bag!

Fierce and fun
Lovi balances the fierce with the sweet by donning a leopard print coat and a headband at once. The dainty Ferragamo headband lends the femininity the outfit needs, while the coat and sneakers offer the right amount of edge!
Remarkable in rust
Going head-to-toe matchy matchy is sometimes a no-no, but in this case, Lovi's monochromatic outfit works! First off, her color scheme stands out against the Central Park background, and secondly, the different textures and shades of rust offer a rather interesting ensemble! Did we forget to mention that chic headgear plays a huge part in this look too?
Fabulous in fur
Whether that jacket is faux or not, we totally saved this look under "outfits to copy". The great thing about it is that it's pretty easy to copy: Don an all-black ensemble underneath, throw a faux fur jacket over, then finish off with a pair of chunky heeled boots and a statement bag!
