As for the red carpet premiere in Toronto, Massoud wore a multi-layered Francis Libiran suit with unique varying textures and patterns and double lapel on one side. The suit had a deep navy blue tone with geometric accents made of brocade silk fabric on the opposite side. Libiran is receiving increasing interest in his custom-made suits in recent months after the 2018 release of his Tactile Collection, defined by its iconic textures and patterns that made the collection stand out and create noise amongst the international fashion community. The Tactile Collection is also known for the distinct trimmings on the side pants and borders on the suit jackets.
No stranger to the red carpet himself, Francis has attended the Golden Globe Awards in Hollywood twice, in 2015 and just recently in January 2019. Libiran has no doubt made an impact in Hollywood, which is now more evident than ever due to the the recent surge of Hollywood stars wearing his creations on the red carpet and on television.

During an interview with Francis regarding his future design aesthetic for red carpet events, he said that he hopes to see men taking more risks and wearing more statement pieces. “There’s a fine line between dressing in costume and taking a risk and pulling off a unique look that turns heads and puts you on the best dressed list. I don’t want to create costumes for the red carpet, I want to elevate my creations beyond the traditional black suit and tie,” says Francis.
When asked if we can expect more Hollywood celebrities wearing Francis Libiran on the red carpet he simply smiled and said, “we’ve got some exciting plans in the works.”
