The METRO Best Dressed List: Met Gala 2019

And just like that, another Met Gala goes down in fashion history—one that yet again makes its indelible mark as one of the most fashionable, bizarre, over-the-top red (or pink) carpets in history!

This year's exhibit at the Met Museum highlights "Camp: Notes on Fashion" as its theme, one that celebrates exaggeration, unnaturalness, and artifice—some terms that are not necessarily new in the Met Gala scene, as evidenced by past years' memorable red carpet moments.

It was an evening of fun and frivolous fashion—celebrities and fashion folk stepped out decked in feathers, diamonds, headpieces that are out of this world, and grand entrances (we see you Lady Gaga and Zendaya). While there were a ton of notable ensembles, we narrowed down 10 of our favorites, those that were able to still let their personalities shine through, despite the Herculean task of needing to look outlandish in a fasyon way.
