<p>Shopping for a charitable cause is one way to extend a helping hand to those who are in need. It was only last year when Typhoon Odette destroyed thousands of homes in the Philippines. The category 5 hurricane was one of the most devastating typhoons in the country, incurring P51.8 billion in damages, right after 2013’s Typhoon Yolanda.</p><div><br/></div><p>As an immediate response to this tragedy, the ABS-CBN Foundation raised funds through various means including the <em>Isang Daan Sa Pagtutulungan</em> campaign earlier this year. To further this cause, Metro, in partnership with Vantage Inc., is holding the <em>Metro Benefit Sale</em> from April 23 to 30 in order to raise more funds for the hurricane-stricken communities that are still in need of assistance.</p><div><br/></div><p>This initiative compromises of 8 days of online shopping for a cause where exclusive and limited offers from a curated list of products and services will be available. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to ABS-CBN Foundation’s Operation Odette in order to help rebuild and give back to those in need. The funds raised will be used to generate and distribute the home repair kits which include 8 pcs GI Sheet 12 Ft., 6 pcs Plywood .5 Thickness, 2 plain Sheet 4x8, 1 Kilo Roofing Nail, and 1 Kilo Ordinary Nail (2 inches).</p><div><br/></div><p>In the gallery down below you’ll find pieces that are up for sale from the partner brands of the hit ABS-CBN TV series <em>The Broken Marriage Vow</em>.
