The Metro Most Stylish Hall of Fame

Last year, Metro launched the annual Metro Most Stylish campaign with our first list of the 50 most stylish women in the country, whose self-expression through fashion had impressed and inspired us throughout the previous year. Having just released the full Metro Most Stylish 2019 list, you might be wondering where last year’s chart toppers stand. As is also the case this year, the #MetroMostStylish2018 Top 10 were celebrated in a special editorial in Metro’s February issue and have since been inducted into the Metro Most Stylish Hall of Fame. Having been in the Top 10, these women will forever be stylish in our eyes, and are exempt from being ranked in future lists—that is, unless they are returning at the top spot. Since joining the Hall of Fame, see what last year’s Top 10 has been up to.

Joanna Preysler-Francisco

Maintaining her timeless, simple yet sophisticated style, the designer and entrepreneur has kept busy managing her stores, Carbon and Othello, and her art gallery, Provenance.

Stephanie Kienle-Gonzalez

Since appearing on our Metro Most Stylish 2018 list, the PhiLux COO has also become a Metro Channel co-host on Metro Home, and was one of the muses of 2018 Metrowear Icon, Vania Romoff. Her hair may be much shorter now, but her style remains exciting yet elegant.

Tootsy Angara

Tootsy Angara remains busy as ABS-CBN’s Cluster Head for Sales, the mother of three, and wife of Senator Sonny Angara. With her deep love for Filipino fashion, she continues to showcase the works of local designers, especially at red carpet events.

Dr. Aivee Aguilar-Teo

One of the country’s most in-demand dermatologists certainly runs a tight schedule, but always makes sure to do it in style. The go-to doctor for many celebrities and society personalities, Dr. Aivee always shows a playfulness with fashion, whether it be at a ball or just another day at the office.

Korina Sanchez-Roxas

Always picture-perfect, Korina maintains her classic yet youthful, and always elegant style. Whether she is traveling around the world with her husband or traveling the country for her show, her composed style always manages to keep her looking her best.

Beng Dee

The matriarch of the FooDee Global Concepts group has a clear passion for food and fashion. While running one of the biggest restaurant companies in the country with her husband, Rikki, Beng never fails to show her playful side with fashion, showcasing her penchant for color especially during her travels.

Jess Wilson

2018 was an exciting year for Jess. Not only did she join the Sunnies Studios team, becoming part-owner and brand manager of one of the year’s most buzzed-about brands, Sunnies Face, but she is now also one of the newest faces of Folded & Hung. One of 2019 Metrowear Icon, Vania Romoff’s muses as well, we continue to see more of Jess’s cool and casual takes on the latest fashion trends.

Lovi Poe

Tied for number 1 on 2018’s Metro Most Stylish list, Lovi continues to make major fashion moments with her always fun and daring style. Only recognized for her fashion in the recent years, Lovi last year claimed that this transformation has been years in the making. Throughout 2018 we saw her style even more defined, especially during her visits to colder climates, so we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!

Anne Curtis

Also at the top spot on Metro Most Stylish 2018, Anne unsurprisingly wowed her fans with even more major fashion moments throughout the year. From being one of Vania Romoff’s muses for Metrowear 2018, to her full commitment to 90s fashion in celebration of BLK’s 90s-inspired collection, no one seems to have more fun dressing up than this fashion chameleon. Not to mention, she also treated her fans to what also seemed like a fashion show, donning 8 show-stopping outfits—several custom-made—at her #AnneKulit concert.

Heart Evangelista-Escudero

Although Heart was among last year’s Top 10 and is thus in the Hall of Fame, she reappeared on Metro Most Stylish 2019 in a tie for the top spot with Kim Jones. Now a regular attendee at all the major fashion weeks, Heart’s style has garnered international attention, with one of her Paris Fashion Week OOTDs being featured on the street style pages of InStyle and Coveteur. Heart is undeniably one of the country’s top fashion icons today, deserving her a lifelong spot on the Metro Most Stylish Hall of Fame and number 1 on 2019’s Metro Most Stylish list.
