Miss Universe Vietnam Visited The Philippines—Here Are All The Filipino-Inspired Outfits She Wore!

In case you missed it, Miss Universe Vietnam was in town last weekend!

H'Hen Niê arrived in the Philippines last Friday to speak at a youth congress in Naga City. She was also reunited with Anjo Santos, a Filipino who coached her during the Miss Universe pageant. "Mabuhay Philippines! Here we come. I’m so happy to see my coach again, Anjo Santos. Thank you so much for your warm welcome, Philippines," the Vietnamese beauty wrote on Instagram.

Aside from motivating the next generation with her inspiring life story, the fan favorite queen also got a glimpse of Pinoy culture during her brief stay. She ate tuyo (which is also called Cá Khô’ in Vietnam), sported a baro't saya, and even hung out with our very own 2010 Miss Universe Philippines Venus Raj!

As expected, the 26-year-old pixie-haired beauty also served her international fans covet-worthy looks on Instagram. Ahead, we've compiled all the outfits the pageant queen donned during her quick trip in the Philippines. For your dose of fashion fix, keep scrolling!

Miss Universe Vietnam sported white coordinates on Day 1 of her trip. The top and skirt ensemble, which featured black oversized bows, was created by Vietnamese fashion designer Ly Giam Ten. To top off her monochromatic look, the queen swiped on striking pink lipstick for a playful, feminine touch.

Look! Miss Universe sisters H'Hen Niê and Venus Raj were spotted together, both clad in terno dresses. Miss Vietnam chose a bright yellow dress that perfectly complemented her sun-kissed complexion!

Speaking of traditional costumes, Miss Vietnam also donned a baro't saya. Her standout pixie cut gave the Maria Clara look a cool, edgy touch—and we're in love! "I love this dress, this is the traditional costume of the North of Phillipines, the Filipino Hispanic dress, and it’s gorgeous right? How do I look with it?" the beauty queen wrote on Instagram.

It's not a trip to the Philippines without watching the beautiful sunset. Miss Vietnam basked under the golden sun in Camarines Sur wearing a basic, minimalist linen dress—drawing the attention to her glowing skin and standout hair.

Finally, the beauty queen donned a custom creation on the day she spoke at the Francis Papua Papica Foundation, Inc. Youth Congress in Naga City. The special dress, designed by Aodai Kinzu (Song Toan), was a hybrid of Vietnam's traditional costume aodai and the Philippine's terno. What a lovely way to pay tribute to two Southeast Asian cultures!

I’m very honoured and grateful to be here, to join Youth Congress of FPPFI at which I could meet various students, potentials of future Philippines and share my stories. Without any part of my past, I wouldn’t be the person I am right now. I believe in the miracle of life, that if you truly believe, life will not give up on you. Many people call me the Cinderella of Vietnam, but Cinderella has a fairy godmother to help her, while I created this miracle for myself. Believe in yourself, always make the efforts, think positively, you would definitely achieve your dreams ! Thank you so much ?? I feel very touched by your warm welcome, Philippines ?????? ?? @tuankhoi02
