Filipino-American designer Josie Cruz-Natori founded Natori back in 1977 to bring lingerie out of the nighties-only realm and into the forefront of fashion. Through the years, the brand has been synonymous with high-end, expert quality lingerie and its expansive collection of dresses, knits, and sets. This year, the brand celebrates 45 years of making luxury intimates and everyday wear for women around the globe.
Held at The Conservatory in The Peninsula, Natori staged a celebration like no other and an exclusive preview of the brand’s F/W ’22 collection to its prestigious clientele. Among the guests were Chairman and CEO of Rustan’s Group Zenaida Tantoco, President of Rustan’s Group Donnie Tantoco, President of SSI Anton Huang and wife Nina Herrera-Huang, and friends of the brand Heart Evangelista and Iza Calzado. The brand, together with Rustan’s, staged the first ever dance fashion presentation with Ballet Philippines. Dressed in electric and glamorous garbs, ballerinas danced the night away in stunning printed pieces from Natori’s F/W 2022 collection.
The collection featured the same electric and iconic pieces patrons fell in love with 45 years ago but modernized with opulent embellishments, silhouettes and hand-crafted embroideries that speak to the past, present and future. Pieces come in an autumnal palette of greens, purples, reds, and cognac which are very suitable for all climates. This season, the brand also introduced the Infinity print, an interpretation of Natori's logo. Proving once again that there will always have an emphasis on innovative prints in the world of Natori.
Along with this drop, Natori also launches a menswear collection along with a line of footwear staples for the first time. Men’s loungewear and robes that exude Natori’s signature quality, detail, and comfort are made of a blend of feel-good fabrics. For footwear, Natori introduces tuxedo flats and embroidered wedges to complete your Natori outfits from head-to-toe. The choices are endless and there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
