Here Are The Designers Behind Park Shin-hye's Whimsical Wedding Gowns

The veteran K-drama actress picked a Filipino-American designer for two of her pre-wedding gowns!

Like a fairytale straight out of a K-drama, Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon said their 'I dos' in a dreamy wedding ceremony in Seoul last weekend. The actress, who is known for her roles in The Heirs, Memories of the Alhambra, and Sisyphus: The Myth, walked down the aisle in an Oscar de la Renta ball gown filled with floral appliqués and cut-outs. Tae-joon matched with his bride with a three-piece black suit featuring a waistcoat designed with subtle floral embroideries.

For the couple's pre-wedding shoot, the bride wore not one but three gowns. Alongside Tae-joon and his blue velvet suit, Shin-hye wore a bow-embroidered dress made from white silk faille by Oscar de la Renta from his Spring 2021 bridal couture collection. The couple also has a photo together where Shin-hye wore a long-sleeve floral lace ball gown from Filipina-American designer Monique Lhuillier's Spring 2021 bridal collection. For her solo portrait, Shin-hye donned the whimsical Wildflower gown from Monique Lhuillier's Spring 2022 bridal collection. The bodice of the dress and its billowy sleeves perfectly matched the green meadow around Shin-hye. In the gallery down below, take a closer look at the bride's designer dresses.
