See The Country's Top Models Celebrate 35 Years Of PMAP
A landmark anniversary is also an invitation to envision a better future!
On Tuesday evening, Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP) commemorated their 35th anniversary with a fashion show. Friends and fashion folk gathered at The Hilton Hotel in Manila to toast to the agency’s founding members, past presidents, and new generation models.
Dressed in Mark Bumgarner’s S/S 2023 collection and styled by former Metro Executive Editor Kat Cruz-Villanueva and Michelle Bumgarner, PMAP models showed just how excellent they are on the runway. Former PMAP Presidents Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez, Apples Aberin, Grace Molina, Rissa Mananquil-Trillo, Phoemela Baranda, Angel Agustin and Ana Sideco made their presence known during the spectacular fashion show. New generation models also took part in the glamorous fashion affair.
To wrap up the evening’s festivities, newly-appointed president Margarita Gutierrez left an empowering message about the agency’s longstanding excellence and the future of PMAP. In order to align with the ever-evolving fashion industry, PMAP aims to highlight inclusivity by including all genders and all shapes/sizes into their roster. Representation is of utmost importance, it's only fitting that PMAP now has more trans models, plus size models, athletes, influencers, and commercial models. The future of fashion is bright. Congratulations on 35 years!
