Here’s A First Look At The Live Action Adaptation Of Snow White

In a fresh live action adaptation on the Disney classic fairytale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Rachel Zegler, who plays the titular role, infuses the well-loved character with traditional elements and modern storytelling to Snow White.

Rachel’s look as the iconic Snow White dress has been redesigned to have a modern and timeless feel featuring longer sleeves and a deeper colour palette. while maintaining the classic bright yellow skirt as a nod to the original. Her hair has seen a subtle change with a shorter bob giving it a more effortless feel. This look compliments her vibrant and youthful personality, which is reflected in the film’s themes as revealed in the teaser trailer.

The almost minute-and-a-half teaser trailer begins with a chilling scene as Snow White enters a cottage. And we catch a glimpse of the seven dwarfs and hear a snippet of her version of “Whistle While You Work” which offers a fresh take on the classic Disney song. The trailer progresses into a darker theme, introducing Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen. Gal’s portrayal is a striking and powerful figure, with her character dressed in a dark and opulent ensemble that matches with a cold demeanour that makes her captivating and intimidating. From then, the trailer picks up as we see Snow White go through a series of twists and turns eventually leading her to an underground place.
