Style Tips From A Victoria’s Secret Model: Sanne Vloet’s Wardrobe Essentials Will Give You That New York Chic

Last week, we got to sit down and meet the Victoria’s Secret Model, Sanne Vloet, as she popped by for a quick meet up with Bantay Bata 163 and Metro magazine. The 22-year old, New-York based Dutch model had originally visited Philippines for vacation, but also took some time to learn about how she can help with charity opportunities. Now that’s beauty with a heart!

There are only a handful of models who can call themselves a Victoria's Secret model, and the chances of them coming to our neck of the woods is rare. So we couldn’t help but pick Sanne’s brains –and style—a little. A quick glance on her Instagram account (@sannevloet), and you can’t help but admire her effortless look. Whether she’s out in the big city, or kicking back at El Nido, Palawan, she just always seems so put-together, albeit casual.

So what’s Sanne’s biggest style rule? “I have every piece in black, and leather.”, she chirps. Whether it’s a bag, jacket, or jeans, she’s bound to have a black version, or a leather alternative. “Everything I have in black, I [also] have in leather! That’s for sure.”

Of course, it’s also about being comfortable, says Sanne, who runs a hectic schedule, going to gigs and photoshoots, then flying out in a minute’s notice. She doesn’t mind, and in fact, is open to sharing it with her followers. With a colorful Instagram account, and a growing YouTube account, Sanne’s out to gather more eyes on her, but not without giving back.

“I have to say that [my life] changed well after Victoria’s Secret,” she says. Having walked the prestigious runway three times, she’s truly living a model’s dream. “More people know [me]. But I think that’s really a great thing, so I can turn that awareness into something else.”

Will she be coming back to the Philippines? You can bet on that! Having enjoyed her stay here, and with some philanthropic plans in her sights, there’s definitely better things to come for Sanne. We’ll be the first to let you know when she does!
