Recognizing their potential here in our country (you can bet that Filipinos love photoshoot sessions!), SweetEscape landed on Philippine shore in 2018. And in celebration of their first birthday, they held a private media party yesterday, June 25, at Common Grounds in BGC.

Metro.Style, together with celebrities, influencers, and travel enthusiasts, enjoyed an afternoon of good food and great conversations. Get this—we even scored tips on how to take amazing travel photos from SweetEscape CEO David Soong, but that's for another article.

SweetEscape ambassador Maxene Magalona-Mananquil donned a little white dress with gorgeous puff sleeves. She completed her look by wearing nude-and-black block heels, styling her hair sleek and straight. Talk about understated elegance!

 

Nikki Gil-Albert

SweetEscape ambassador Nikki Gil-Albert rocked it in her powersuit. She sported an oversized blazer, layered over a black top and khaki-green shorts—we love the belt accent! She topped off her OOTD with comfy, head-turning sandals. 

 

Cat Juan-Ledesma

Writter and vlogger Cat Juan-Ledesma is well aware of the power of accessorizing. She styled her coral wrap dress by layering bracelets (beads and tassels galore!) and sporting statement earrings.

 

Lissa Kahayon

Fashion blogger Lissa Kahayon pulled off a tropical chic OOTD, pairing a printed one-shoulder top with emerald pants. For a fun touch, she layered dainty necklaces in different sizes.
