Here's Everything To Look Forward To This Year's Ternocon
The third installment of Ternocon turns its spotlight to the humble 'Balintawak'
There’s only T-minus two days until Ternocon’s final presentation and we couldn’t wait to see the designers who will be presenting their own version of the terno balintawak. For their third installment, Bench’s Ternocon puts the terno balintawak on a spotlight.
Worn by Filipinas as a more comfortable version of a terno, the balintawak is worn with an alampay and paired with a tapis. It puts an emphasis on informality with the chosen fabric, print, and cut. For this year’s final competition, it will be up to the chosen designers on how they will reinterpret this iconic garb.
Set at the Tanghalang Ignacio Gomez in the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Ternocon is bound to reveal exciting collections of this year’s finalists.
