The 7th Philippine Fashion Ball Was LIT

The annual Philippine Fashion Ball has an unusual hashtag: #Lit7thPFB. Let's dissect this hashtag, shall we? First off, there's the word "lit", or this generation's slang for "cool" or "amazing" or simply, "best". We automatically get the impression that the evening's theme has something to do with the young-uns. Next, it's the 7th ball, and lastly, PFB stands for Philippine Fashion Ball. The hashtag is basically an ode to millennials and how "lit" they've made the local fashion industry. The ball took place at Manila House Private Members' Club, the perfect setting for the evening's dress code: Weird, Wacky, and Wonderful. This venue has no shortage of Instagrammable corners, so imagine all the OOTD possibilities!

The evening began with a 4-course dinner, followed by a short program dedicated to awarding this year's best talents in the local fashion industry. This year's ball awards, as you guessed, focused on millennials who have contributed significant work and exceptional talent to further improve the local fashion scene.

Some of the winners include "Lit Creative" Raymond Ang for his creative editorial work, "Lit Woke" Kylie Verzosa for her advocacy for Mental Health awareness, "Lit Blogger" DeeGee Razon for his exceptional eye for taking beautiful photos for his social media accounts, "Lit Photographer" Onin Lorente for his outstanding work that includes a shoot with Riverdale's Cole Sprouse, "Lit Vloggers" LA Aguinaldo and Hannah Pangilinan for their addictive Youtube channels, "Lit Male Model" Santino Rosales, who definitely inherited his dad Jericho Rosales' good looks, and many more.
