The Week in Style: Chilly Edition

It certainly is colder in some parts of the world right now, but unfortunately for us Filipinos, it looks like we're in for a warm holiday season. That doesn't mean we can't whip up an outfit inspired by the cold though. A few key pieces here and there, and we can definitely come up with our own version of cold weather dressing without sweating like crazy! Here are the looks we love:

Tina Leung in Faux Fur

While it isn't really easy to pull-off a fur coat in Manila, we definitely can rock some pointy boots the same way blogger Tina Leung does it. Pair it with skinny jeans and a pared down top and you're good to go!

Kelsey Merritt in an Oversized Blazer

This look we can surely cop—a turtle neck and a leather skirt topped off with an oversized blazer spells sophisticated chic! A pop of color on your sunglasses doesn't hurt either.

Heart Evangelista in Layered Prints

If you're anything like us, then we're all obsessed with Heart Evangelista's polished sophisticated style. This woman can do no wrong! Take cue for your next European city getaway with a printed blouse and full skirt, finished off with a bright coat. Trés, trés chic!

Kim Jones in All Black

The heat is most certainly not compatible with darker hues, and going all black during summer is a no-no. We then rejoice that it is practically legal to go all black this season, with pops of shimmer and shine here and there. Let's take Kim Jones' stunning ensemble for example—a structured Vetements dress paired with Giambattista Valli thigh-high black boots, and an of-the-moment Chloe bag. Dying for her style!

Yoyo Cao in a Not-Your-Usual Raincoat

Now this is one trend we can ride on: Rainy season dressing! We're definitely not big fans of constant rain, but we can get behind looking chic in the midst of a storm. Take cue from blogger of the moment Yoyo Cao, as she does double layering, first with a lightweight trench, then with a chic raincoat.
