These Boy Shoes Are A Cool Girl Essential
Not everyone can pull off androgyny, as it entails a certain level of "coolness" or "attitude" to do it right. There are those that can easily do so without any effort, but for some of us, slowly injecting some manly pieces may be the best way to go! A blazer here, some tailored trousers there, or a pair of loafers—surely the best way to approach the trend.

A cool way to update your wardrobe is by trading your ballet flats for an edgier pick—loafers! These school-boy staples have been around for generations, but are underestimated when it comes to style. It is one of those pieces that effortlessly adds an unexpected edge to an otherwise girly outfit!
For pre-fall 2018, Italian design house Salvatore Ferragamo launches its Reversible Gancini Loafers, a collection that revisits an icon, and puts an updated twist. Its perfect balance of masculine and feminine design is what keeps it fresh, and is celebrated under the creative direction of Paul Andrew, who pays homage to founder Salvatore Ferragamo, whose muses Katherine Hepburn and Greta Garbo best represent this contrast.
For this collection, the loafers' metallic hardware is, for the first time, reversible from silver to gold finish, from matte to shiny. The Double Gancini finds life in the modern creative—where the lines of Uptown and Downtown culture and style are seamlessly blurred.
