This New H&M Collaboration Makes Wallpaper Prints Extra Chic and Romantic

British interiors brand Morris & Co.  is the newest print collaboration of H&M, and this time around, the capsule collection has pieces for men and women rendered in some of the most recognizable prints from the brand. Morris & Co. was founded by William Morris in 1861, one of the most influential designers of the Arts & Crafts Movement.

For autumn, H&M scoured through the said heritage brand’s archives to infuse the iconic wallpaper and interior prints like Lily Leaf, Marigold and Pimpernel into tailored coats and jackets and further into more romantic pieces like ruffled dresses and coordinating separates. Unlike H&M’s Anna Glover and GP & J Baker print collections this year, the men finally get to enjoy the prints in subtler ways like details on jumpers and shirts.

“The Morris & Co prints are some of the most recognized and loved around the world, while William Morris is not only synonymous with the Arts and Crafts movement, but also a strong advocate of beautiful design,” says Pernilla Wohlfahrt, H&M’s Design Director. Morris is also a poet hence one of the key details in the collection is the “Love is Enough” catchphrase, which is also the title of one of his well-loved poems.

The Morris & Co. x H&M collection is available online and in H&M stores starting October 4.
