Kelly Misa: My husband and I we are not very showy—we're not really "Valentine's people". We will most likely just be at home with our son, because it's usually traffic during the holiday. For us, we'd rather make every day Valentine's Day—we'll just be sweet all year long!

Metro.Style: How will you be celebrating Valentine's Day this year?

Patty Laurel: It's funny because I'm a really cheesy person and I live for occasions—but for me, Valentine's Day doesn't have to be grand or extravagant. It's really just carving out time with my husband—it's acutally a double celebration for us because our first date ever was also on Valentine's! Whether we're just watching Netflix or having a nice dinner together, as long as it's "me and him time", [it's the perfect date night for us.]

MS: What date night outfit can you recommend our readers?

PL: This is the time where you can be all-out cheesy, and it will be forgiven (just like Christmas and New Year's Eve!)  This Valentine's Day, bring out the pinks and reds—it may sound stereotypical, but it still works!

JC: There are several kinds of dates now—there are sporty dates, beer pong dates, and even advenutre dates. It can really depend on the occasion and where you're going—but the number one thing is to feel comfortable. It's hard when pinipilit mo ang isang outfit. Always make sure you're you when you wear it!

Metro.Style: How will you be celebrating Valentine's Day this year?

Mikaela Martinez:  It's also our 13th wedding anniversary, so we might just spend it before Valentine's Day. We don't really go out [on the night itself], because it's crazy traffic!

MS: What date night outfit can you recommend our readers?

MM: Comfort first. You don't want to be figdeting with your skirt! If in doubt, just wear a little black dress. Or you can also just pair shorts with a shirt and an oversized blazer! It's simple and not over-the-top, yet super classy and chic.

Metro.Style: How will you be celebrating Valentine's Day this year?

Jackie Go: Every Valentine, it's usually just me and my husband, so we'd like to spend it with our kids this year. We'll probably make it a new tradition so we can bond with them before they have their own dates in the future.

MS: What date night outfit can you recommend our readers?

JG: Wear something simple—like black! How you look and feel are more important than what you wear. Even if you just wear red lipstick and it makes you feel good, pak na yun for a Valentine's look!
