Wakanda Style: How ‘Black Panther’ Showcased The Beauty Of African Fashion

Smashing box office records worldwide, Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ movie set a whole new standard for diversity and representation in cinema. Its debut weekend alone raked in an estimated $242 million dollars, with viewers still pouring in. But other than its cinematic achievement, we’re also commending its spotlight on African style. Stars came in dressed like African royalty, and fans lined-up with their best rendition of #WakandaForever fashion, featuring daring prints upon prints, body paint and head pieces.
