Wear Your Daydreams With Tory Burch Resort 2019
By now, we’re fantasizing a holiday getaway; somewhere with sanded grounds, a gentle breeze with a little sun, but cool enough to warm up with a chic sweater. Blame it on the rainy season to conjure such an image—well, that and the Tory Burch 2019 Resort collection, to be completely honest.
Upon first glance, there is something reminiscent about a Moroccan garden in this collection; perhaps it’s the tunics, flowing trousers, dress shirts and a general elongated silhouette, coupled with flats. The neutral palette is also easy in the eye, but not the usual beiges and browns; rather, there is a creaminess to it, peppered with navy blues and a touch of pink that’s reminiscent of watercolor hues.

“For Resort 2019, I was inspired by all the things I love: Stripes done in different styles, including a 3-D version in pleats with contrast-color edging. Longer hemlines, some asymmetrical. Relaxed silhouettes. The natural beauty of combining a simple knit and a skirt, clean tunic and a pant.”, explains Tory Burch with regards to her new collection. “We updated the classics with special details—like the perfect white cotton shirt, now with a scalloped or elongated collar, or an easy denim dress, with a ruffled packet. Accessories continue the less-is-more mood: easy totes, flat sandals, [plus] lemon and clementine-shaped pendants.”
