Chic Spring/Summer Pieces From Zalora's the___edit To Complete Your Powerdressing Wardrobe
Despite the persistence of the relatively slow Internet speed in the country, Zalora Philippines Co-Founder and CEO Paulo Campos has much to be happy about as he steers his 8-year old online fashion shopping destination into the 2020s. When Paulo and his partners began the venture in 2011, they were pinning their hopes on desktop sales, so the accessibility and frequency of use of mobile apps has contributed to the surge in popularity of Zalora Philippines.

One great Zalora success story of 2018 would be their collaboration in October with social media darlings Solenn Heussaff, Isabelle Daza, Georgina Wilson, and Liz Uy. Together, Zalora and the four girls curated a collection of apparel, shoes, and accessories that was called the___edit. And as Gigi Mabanta, Zalora’s Head of Buying was proud to share with Metro.Style, the interest in the collection went through the roof, and they sold out.

Such a well-received offering deserves another turn on the table, and so the four bosom friends are back with a 2019 Spring/Summer the___edit. And this time, it’s a 40-piece collection that highlights light fabrics such as cotton, satin, and linen. As always, it’s effortless chic, sophisticated yet versatile, and with an emphasis on timeless looks and silhouettes.
As befits a summer collection that’ll be worn to garden parties, weekend getaways, and sultry nights out; the color palette sticks to hues if the sky, the sun, and sand. The fluidity of semi-transparent fabrics accentuates the blouses, dresses, and pantsuits of the collection. Prices for the jumpsuits and dresses start at P2,499.
Zalora has firmly established itself as the go-to for online fashion, carrying both International and Local brands that are out to satisfy the discriminating tastes of their followers.
