Zalora Launches A New Podcast And Here’s Why We’re Listening
The topics are all so relevant in the Southeast Asian region!
Southeast Asian e-commerce site Zalora launches a new endeavour in their efforts to be an online destination not just for shopping but also for fresh, relevant content. Here comes Zalora Talks, an in-house podcast series by Zalora. The podcast will tackle the latest trends and hot topics in fashion and lifestyle, categories which happen to be the product categories available on their website, too.
Hosted by Amy Yasmine, former editor of Harper’s Bazaar Malaysia, the podcast will gather industry experts, brand partners, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) from Southeast Asia, discussing topics in lifestyle, beauty and fashion. But it goes beyond just that. Relevant topics like the new realities of celebrating Eid al-Fitr during the pandemic are also part of this discussion. Quite recently, Philippines’ own Laureen Uy was part of their recent episode, sharing style tips and new ways of dressing up at a time like today.
“You just really have to accept and love your body,” shares Laureen. “Once you accept, flaunt your assets and embrace your flaws.”
The products series is the first of its kind in the region as no one in the fashion e-commerce field has ventured into this outlet just yet. On Spotify, three episodes have already been uploading with topics ranging from modest-wear to sustainability.
