See Why The 5 Baeksang Best Actor Nominees Are Also The Best Dressed Onscreen!
Who's your best bet among these dashing gentlemen?
Out of all the K-dramas you binge-watched during the past year, who do you think deserves the Best Actor award the most? Is it Kim Soo-hyun of It's Okay To Not Be Okay, Shin Ha-kyun of Beyond Evil, Uhm Ki-joon of The Penthouse: War in Life, Lee Joon-gi of Flower of Evil, or Song Joong-ki of Vincenzo?
Regardless of who bags the sought-after Best Actor award at this year's 57th Baeksang Arts Awards, we're already claiming that these gentlemen were also some of the best dressed in their respective K-dramas. Get this, a preppy sweater over a pinstriped buttondown or a casual outfit that is made up of a simple tee, denim jeans, and a pair of sneakers is just as fashionable as a thousand dollar suit as long as the fit, colors, and silhouette are parallel to the narrative. We think it's only fitting to recognize these actors for consistently giving their character life through the many ensembles they wore in their respective series. Clothes are just as important as dialogues, and we're glad these nominees did justice to their roles and their looks.
Check out the gallery down below to see who played their characters well and dressed appropriately while at it.

Shin Ha-kyun of 'Beyond Evil'
Award-winning actor Shin Ha-kyun played one of the main roles in 'Beyond Evil' as a sergeant who chose to break the law to catch a serial killer. As someone who is most likely to wake up in the morning only to fight crime, it was fitting to see Ha-kyun in outfits that aren't complicated such as a tee and bomber jacket duo.

Lee Joon-gi of 'Flower of Evil'
Lee Joon-gi made us question the truth in 'Flower of Evil'. As a seemingly perfect husband to a detective, we were utterly surprised to see his character's true self in the series. His sleek and neat ensembles definitely hid his character's cruel past.

Uhm Ki-joon of 'The Penthouse: War in Life'
Avid fans of 'The Penthouse: War in Life' would say that Uhm Ki-joon's character is evil to the core. As a greedy stature in the real estate industry, his character never once failed to show off his good looks and dapper ensembles.

Kim Soo-hyun of 'It's Okay To Not Be Okay'
Sound off Kim Soo-hyun fans and come support this cutie at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards. Real fans would know how much he charmed us with his boy-next-door looks in contrast with Seo Ye-ji's macabre ensembles. We love how much he balanced off the energy in the series!
