#MetroStyleWatch: The Most Opulent Costumes Spotted At Raymond Gutierrez's Marie Antoinette-Inspired Halloween Party
Opulence 2019 delighted us with serious eye candy!
It was a night of glitter, glamour, and grandeur as Raymond Gutierrez gathered Manila's A-listers in an evening of opulence. Events specialist Ash Rye and events planner La Belle Fete completed the power trio that organized "Opulence: Let Them Eat Cake"—a star-studded Halloween party to remember. There was no shortage of figure-hugging corset tops, picturesque headpieces, massive wigs, and feminine cage skirts. The guests were also treated to sky-high towers of cake, echoing Marie Antoinette's apocryphal line. And in true French fashion, there was even a tower of free-flowing champagne!
Taking inspiration from Queen Marie Antoinette, (in)famous for her extravagant lifestyle that cost her the French throne, the guests at Opulence 2019 graced the evening in their own interpretations of opulence. From lavish, tiered dresses to jaw-dropping feathery numbers, we've rounded up the best-dressed women in the most unforgettable outfits of the evening.
