Actor, musician, and Glee star Darren Criss celebrates his Filipino roots by wearing his local designer of choice: Francis Libiran. In his newest album release A Very Darren Crissmas, the singer looked magnificent in a wine and great bespoke Francis Libiran suit. 

The suit looked like a fusion of a sharp blazer and a luxe robe, perfect to jumpstart the Holiday season. The velvet lapel was contrasted with brocade to make the look more exciting. “The suit’s texture made a big difference because we didn’t use conventional suit patterns. We made sure that his style was distinctive to let his audience marvel in the magnificence of the ensemble that mirrors his personality,” says Francis.

It’s the not only time Darren has worn Francis in his big life events. Francis and Darren go way back having met at the 76th Golden Globes in 2019. Since then, Darren has been in seen wearing Francis in multiple occasions inlacing the world premiere of the live action version of Aladdin in 2019 and his very own wedding. 

Francis has proven time and time again that he is the menswear designer of choice for global Filipinos. With his constant reinvention of the known classics, his pieces are sure to excite any red carpet or aisle anywhere.
