#MetroStyleWatch: Our Favorite Red Carpet Looks From The Premieres Of 'Eternals' And 'Dune'
It only feels right to see these stars bring life to the red carpet now that people can soon watch movies in the cinemas!
When the red carpet is unfurled for two of the biggest film releaaes this year, we stop and watch. We can't remember the last time we got excited for a movie premiere ever since the pandemic but Marvel Studios' Eternals and the star-studded sci-fi film Dune both proved that the film and its cast are worthy of our attention.
Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet first hit the headlines with the first ever premiere of Dune in Venice Film Festival. Zendaya, being the queen of contemporary red carpet fashion, wore a wet look made from flesh-toned leather courtesy of Olivier Rousteing of Balmain. The finishing touch was a 93-carat emerald necklace from Bulgari. Then and there we knew that she was the pièce de résistance of the month-long celebration. Timothee Chalamet walked the Venetian red carpet alongside Zendaya in a sharp Haider Ackermann suit styled with pairs of rings, bracelets, and a brooch from Cartier. It's safe to say that the two stars of Dune solidified their red carpet presence for the film right from the very start.
Onto the Eternals, you'll see two of the brightest stars who have ever graced the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Angelina Jolie and Gemma Chan each took turns in creating a red carpet fashion moment during the worldwide premiere of their much-awaited superhero film. Angelina Jolie championed sustainability with her kids at the first premiere of Eternals. Zahara wore Angelina's gilded Elie Saab gown, the same dress she wore at the 2014 Academy Awards while Shiloh opted to re-style her mother's Gabriela Hearst poplin slip dress from Guerlain's Women for Bees event earlier this year. Angelina, the ever Versace icon, continued to make red carpet news exciting with a fitted column dress for the 16th Annual Rome Film Festival. The Eternals breakout star, though, has got to be Gemma Chan in an array of dreamy ensembles including a black velvet couture set from emerging South Korean designer Park So-hee of London-based womenswear label Miss Sohee.
