#MetroStyleWatch: See All of Heart Evangelista's Contemporary Looks At Paris Haute Couture Week
Heart talks about her PFW Couture must-haves, how she managed to wear everything, and some snippets of her meeting for Vogue 100.
It’s Paris Fashion Week and with shows coming in left to right, we’re glad that we have have Heart Evangelista to guide us through in style. Together with her team, Heart flies to Paris with a luggage full of looks and a fleeting energy to come through in every single show lined up for her.
On an exclusive interview with Heart, she mentioned that she wanted to dress extra playful this year but emphasises the importance of retaining her signature looks. “Since it was really cold, we had to do a lot of layering which was really a challenge because I didn’t just want to throw on a coat and call it a day.” Heart explains the styling process she went through with her stylist and Metro executive editor Kat Cruz, where they brainstormed on what textures, colors, and pieces to layer on for the French weather. Heart shares how much she loved doing what they do even through days when they used up all their clothes and end up having nothing to wear the next day. It sure felt like true bliss to have someone to mix and match especially when you both have an eye for fashion!
Heart explains that this couture season was extra special because its not just enjoying the shows but work comes in it as well, from creating content for the brands to styling and wearing the pieces to the show. She shares that it was her first time to officially attend shows for Vogue. She also met up with the Vogue editors where she got to talk about the Philippines and how much Vogue 100 can actually open doors to her fellow Filipino fashionistas.

Lime Madame
Heart attends her first Chanel High Jewellery Gala in a custom Mark Bumgarner dress. The lush electric green flows in all the right places. It features a lined corset and an impeccable pleat work cinched with a baby pink ribbon. She completes the entire look with diamonds and her favourite Hermes purse, a true Love Marie head-to-toe look.

Quenched In Style
Following up is a look inspired by the blooming quench of Spring. Heart cheers up the French weather with a Versace coat and skirt, a Miu Miu brick red platform heels, and her trustee Hermes birkin.
