EXCLUSIVE: Hyun Bin Tells Us Himself His Best-Kept Fashion Secret

Neither Hyun Bin nor Bench were ready for what came after the announcement of their collaboration. Dozens of fans (including us) have waited for this full circle moment since we first saw Hyun Bin hit the screens in Memories of the Alhambra, The Negotiation, and last year's instant hit Crash Landing On You. Ever since Bench announced their partnership with Hyun Bin last year, we have been dreaming of the moment we will be able to see him in real life. While we all wait for that day to come, we luckily have been given a chance to talk to Captain Ri himself in an exclusive press conference ahead of his much-awaited Bench virtual fan meet on July 11. And yes, we did ask him the question we've all been wanting to ask!

The press conference started with Hyun Bin expressing his gratitude to the Bench team for making this dream collaboration happen. Although he personally couldn't come over to the Philippines, he wanted to extend his love and thanks to his ever-supportive Filipino fans through the pieces in this special capsule collection. Like a true K-drama heartthrob, Hyun Bin wore a greyish blue graphic tee and a black buttondown outfit for the online meeting. Simple and comfortable yet stylish enough to make a statement, he definitely made a lasting impression to us and to the other members of the press! 

We had a lot of burning fashion-related questions in mind but it was a really no-brainer for us to ask him about how he usually styles a basic white T-shirt from Bench. Hyun Bin answers with "Well, I think a white T-shirt goes well with any type of pants. For me, I wear it with jeans or slacks very often. But also, wearing a jacket or blazer over a white shirt with slacks would make you ready to go to any formal event." True enough, his most recent off-duty and on-set looks are all made up of T-shirt and pants combos. Just take a look at his new collection with Bench and see a number of colors and designs he would personally wear!
