Top School Uniform Moments Of Our Fave K-Drama Stars
Take a trip down memory lane and reminisce your schooling days with your favorite K-Drama stars.
If there’s one thing we can never rewrite from the history of K-dramas, it would be the never-ending appeal of high school-themed shows. K-drama fans of all ages never seem to lose interest in a good high school romance. Apart from all the nostalgic teenage emotions we all seem to love to relive over and over again, these dramas have us missing the kick of our pleated skirts, the shine of our black strappy leather shoes, and our unspoken obsession over inserting our personal sense of style into our school uniforms. Whether it’s by opting for an oversized fit like Kim Da-mi in Itaewon Class, accessorizing puff-sleeved buttondowns with pearl brooches and ribbon bow ties like Kim Hye-yoon in Extraordinary You, or choosing acid-washed denim jeans over a pair of tailored trousers like Song Kang in Love Alarm, let these K-drama stars show you how teens do cool school looks in this day and age.
Don't forget to add the following dramas on your watchlist in case you need a light romance fix over the weekend. Take it from us when we say that there's no shame in wanting to relive your high school or college days!

At Eighteen
Ong Seong-wu, Kim Hyang-gi, and Shin Seung-ho of ‘At Eighteen’ gave us the most relatable high school experience ever. Apart from the many ups and downs that were tackled in this drama, we love how simple their school uniform looks turned out. Their uniforms are styled with casual zip-up jackets, cardigans, watches, and backpacks.

Extraordinary You
If we could name the most fashionable highschool-themed drama in recently, we would give the title to ‘Extraordinary You’. The handsome men from this drama donned tailored tailored three-piece uniforms and designer sneakers! Although we enjoyed seeing Rowoon and Lee Jae-wook in the series, we had our eyes fixated on Kim Hye-yoon’s ensembles. From the most darling-looking buttondowns, eyelet blouses, and vests to accessories such as pearl brooches, ribbon bow ties, and small leather bags, we cannot express just how much we were obsessed with her sense of style in this series.

Itaewon Class
Apart from the hype-worthy streetwear ensembles on Park Seo-joon and Kim Da-mi in ‘Itaewon Class’, we think it’s also appropriate to mention their rebellious but short-lived school ensembles in the series. We can never forget how Da-mi wore an oversized blazer to school or PSJ’s highschool bad boy look with his uniform.

Love Alarm
There’s no denying the fact that we got so hooked with Kim So-hyun, Song Kang, and Jung Ga-ram’s love triangle in this drama. The stars of ‘Love Alarm’ has been giving us preppy uniformed looks and trendy casual wear since day one. The neat and classic uniforms on the cast are as simple as can be but we love how sometimes they get to switch it up by throwing on a pair of jeans or an oversized cardigan!

True Beauty
Who knew that the color combination of pink and maroon can look so good on a school uniform? Moon Ga-young looked exceptionally fresh in her ultra feminine looks in ‘True Beauty’. Cha Eun-woo also did not fail to impress us with his school boy outfits. There’s nothing else to say other than the fact that this two looked like a real life stylish couple in the series!

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo
To give you a sportier variety of school uniform looks, we looked into the sportswear ensembles of Lee Sung-kyung, Nam Joo-hyuk, and the cast in ‘Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo’. Set in an athlete college campus, the cast donned sweaters, sweatpants, crew neck tees, and varsity jackets almost on a daily. Don’t you just miss wearing school varsity uniforms like you're the most valuable member of the team?
