<p><a href="https://metro.style/search?q=michael%20leyva" target="_blank">Michael Leyva</a>’s runway presentation at the Goldenberg Mansion was quite a fashion spectacle. A project of the <a href="https://metro.style/fashion/inspiration/likha-2-artisanal-fair-2023/35735" target="_blank">First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos</a>, the <em>Fashion at Goldenberg</em> series aims to pay tribute to Filipino ingenuity through showcasing the best of what our local fashion industry has to offer.</p><div><br/></div><p>Entitled <em>Isang Pilipinas</em>, Michael showcased his first full Filipiniana collection in front of a powerhouse audience. Senatorial wives, mayors, legislators, businesswomen, and outstanding personalities in Filipino high society served as Michael’s muses for the show. Among the attendees and those who walked the runway were Heart Evangelista, Dette Escudero, Audrey Tan-Zubiri, Tootsy Angara, Kathy Pimentel, and more.</p><div><br/></div><p>Michael explored Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to document and take inspiration from weavers and craftsmen.
