Miss Nicaragua, Sheynnis Palacios, won the crown in her shimmering bejewelled look paired with a satin cape, truly fit for a queen. She is now officially the 72nd Miss Universe.
Apart from her, some women also made dazzling statement throughout the the night.
Michelle Marquez Dee
Our very own Miss Philippines Michelle Marquez Dee made it to the Top 10. At the evening gown segment, she wore a history-making black look by Mark Bumgarner. Apo Whang-od, the 106-year-old traditional Kalinga tattoo artist, and this indigenous art of tattoo artistry were the inspiration behind the floor-length black look.
Miss Universe PH 2018 Catriona Gray was the night’s correspondent and she was breathtaking while at it. In her opening look, this fiery Anthony Ramirez look wowed on-screen and on Catriona.
Together with Jeanie Mai and Maria Menounos, Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo also stunned onstage while hosting the show in her macro-floral look.
R’bonney Gabriel, Miss Universe 2022 from USA, had two couture looks that deserved all the applause. She took her final walk in a mesmerizing piece that was definitely a first for the pageant.

The two runner-ups Miss Australia Moraya Wilson who finished third and Miss Thailand Anntonia Porsild, 1st runner-up, also made head-turning statements in their white and sheer bedazzled pieces, respectively.
